Students cover topics in Science, History, Geography, Economics, Social and Ethical capabilities in a two year cycle. Victorian Curriculum requirements are met through the wide variety of knowledge building and research opportunities students are provided. We aim to increase student understanding of how the world works, what their place in the world is and how to contribute effectively to it.
Each term the whole school has a common ‘Big Idea’ such as our unit on Great Southern Land. This big idea is then explored more in-depth in each area level with a topic that is targeted to match the Victorian Curriculum.
