Fundraising

Being a small community focussed school, we rely on the generosity of our parents, grandparents, friends of the school, local businesses and staff to support our fundraising efforts. Our Student Representative Council also develop ideas for fundraising not only for our school, but for charities with causes the students are passionate about and would like to support.

Community fundraising enables us to make improvements to the school environment, resources and equipment for our students. Examples of some of the upgrades made thanks to fundraising have been: new technology equipment; play equipment; learning resources; library books; landscaping.

We like to put the FUN in fundraising and take advantage of many opportunities for fundraising as they present themselves throughout the year. Some of these are:

  • Mothers and Father’s Day stalls
  • Footy colours day
  • School based competitions

We have also been fortunate to have been successful at receiving grants from our Local and Federal Members of Parliament. We encourage our parent community to continue lobbying for the needs of our students. In 2024 we were able to upgrade our outdoor Basketball/Netball courts to synthetic grass purely from school fundraising.
